Itemeyez / The details

Privacy policy.

What you share, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Effective · Itemeyez, Tennessee, USA

Who this policy covers

This policy covers personal information handled by Itemeyez, based in Tennessee, USA. Contact help@itemeyez.com with privacy questions or requests.

The tool is intended for adults organizing work, study and everyday records. Account users must be at least 18. Do not send Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, bank passwords, or information about other people that you do not have permission to use.

Information you choose to add

You may add a name for your greeting and an optional birthday to your private profile. Both can be changed or removed in Profile. The authorized Itemeyez owner can view the name and birthday you provide alongside account usage for account support and administration. Your birthday is stored only when you choose to provide it; it is not used for visitor analytics, advertising, identity verification or granting account access. We do not ask for ZIP code, gender or other demographic details during setup.

Records can include names, income, expenses, commissions, payment labels, jobs, client contact details, notes, miles and receipt files. You may also add budget plans, savings goals, self-entered grades or scores, and setup choices used to tailor your workspace. These private details are not used for visitor analytics or shown in the back-office account directory. Records you add while signed in are saved in your private account. Device-only records stay in that browser unless you choose to copy, export or share them.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to answer your question, handle your request and keep a record of the exchange.

Our website host handles connection information such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser details to deliver and protect the site. See Cookies & analytics for browser storage and optional website measurement.

Account allowances and extra-usage requests

To run your account, enforce allowances and review requests for extra usage, we keep monthly receipt-upload and report-creation counts, uploaded bytes, current active-job counts and current stored-file size. The owner can review these counts alongside your account email and request history. This review does not show financial amounts, client names, record text, receipt contents, filenames or private searches.

You can request extra usage from Your plan using a resource, amount and short reason choice. An optional checkbox lets you say the tools are useful. This is feedback you choose to provide, not a conclusion we infer about your finances or business. We record the decision, amount, reviewer and date. Extras apply to the request month; no charge or paid subscription is created.

These limited records support account administration, capacity planning, support and decisions about allowances. They are separate from optional public-page analytics. We do not join anonymous visitor IDs to member accounts, record private-workspace browsing sessions or rank members by inferred financial value. Refusing optional website analytics does not prevent requesting more usage.

Monthly usage and report-operation identifiers cover the latest six calendar months. Requests and decisions are kept for up to 365 days, with cleanup on the next relevant account or owner-dashboard access. Account deletion removes the linked usage data. See Account & data requests for your access and deletion options.

Device records and account records

A signed-in workspace stores your records in your own private account. Any device-only workspace stores its records in that browser. Example records, device records and account workspaces are separate. Device records are not automatically uploaded to an account and are not a cloud backup.

Free accounts and private workspaces are available. In a signed-in workspace, profile information, records and receipt files you choose to save are processed by Supabase to provide sign-in and private storage. We send a confirmation email before you can open a new account.

Translation reports

Messages sent to translation@itemeyez.com are handled as support email. We use the address, message and any attachments you choose to send to review the wording and respond. A report draft includes only the public page address and selected language; it does not copy URL queries, form fields or private workspace records.

Please send a short description of the issue and leave out passwords, sensitive receipts and unrelated personal information. Your translation report is not used for optional website analytics or to build an advertising profile.

Optional Google Maps route checks

When you choose Check route, Itemeyez sends the starting and ending addresses you enter to Google Maps Platform for a suggested driving route and map. Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy.

Your entered addresses and actual mileage can be saved with your trip. Google route results and map images remain in the current preview and are not saved with your records or used for visitor analytics. Each check loads a fresh map. Background GPS tracking is not active.

Services that help us operate

Information is shared with these services as needed for their role. We also disclose information when legally required or necessary to investigate misuse and protect legal rights. Providers can process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Itemeyez does not sell personal information, share it for cross-site targeted advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about employment, credit, housing or similar eligibility.

Account emails

Account-enabled workflows use email to confirm an address, reset a password and notify you about security changes. Keep confirmation links and verification codes private. Itemeyez will never ask you to send your password or a verification code to support.

We do not include your private tool entries or receipt files in these account messages, and we do not use email-open or click tracking for them. Delivery information helps us find failed messages and protect the service. Essential account and security messages are separate from optional product emails.

Grouped data that helps us improve

Opening the owner back office sets an itemeyez_internal cookie to exclude that browser from future public visitor measurements for 180 days. It contains only an exclusion flag, never an account ID or visitor ID, and remains after sign-out. Clearing cookies or using another browser requires opening the back office again. Historical anonymous visits cannot reliably be identified as owner visits.

With your permission, we measure consenting browsers, sessions, public page views, active foreground reading time, broad screen-size groups and plan choices. Random first-party browser and session IDs support these estimates; they are not a count of individual people. Cloudflare supplies approximate country, city and US ZIP areas from the network connection. We round map positions and show an area only after at least five consenting browsers. We do not store raw IP addresses in this analytics dataset or request your precise device location.

Our Cloudflare-hosted endpoint validates measurements and saves them in private Supabase storage. We do not send names, emails, account IDs, full URLs, query values, search terms, financial entries, receipts or passwords. Account pages and private workspaces are excluded. We do not record your screen, fingerprint devices, create ad profiles or follow you across websites.

Analytics starts only after the current notice is accepted. Use Cookie preferences to refuse or withdraw permission. GPC and Do Not Track keep it off. Browser IDs last up to 30 days and event records up to 90 days. See storage and retention details.

Location and exports

Location is optional. The tool asks your browser for permission before capturing it. With permission, coordinates can be added to an expense while the tool is open. It does not track background trips. Turn off location access in your browser or device settings.

PDF, print and CSV reports are created when you request them. You choose where to save or share them. An exported report can contain private information, so keep it somewhere safe.

Optional TrustedSite verification

With your separate permission, the public website loads a TrustedSite verification badge. The vendor receives connection information, including your IP address, and uses short-lived visit and display storage. Its hosted contact form processes contact details and messages you choose to submit, then delivers them to our support address. Do not submit passwords or sensitive financial records through that form.

We do not enable TrustedSite purchase tracking, advertising or account-data integrations. The badge is excluded from private tool, account, checkout and query-bearing pages. Existing permission for first-party analytics does not enable it. See badge storage and choices and TrustedSite privacy information.

How long information is kept

Device records and preferences remain in your browser until you delete them, clear site storage, or your browser removes them. Itemeyez cannot recover device-only records after they are lost. Export records you need to keep.

We retain support correspondence and service information for the purposes described here, including follow-up, security, disputes and legal duties. We review those needs and delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed. Legally required retention and restricted provider backup copies can affect when removal is complete.

Canceling a subscription does not delete records. A request to delete account information is handled separately, after ownership is verified.

Your privacy choices

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete personal information we hold about you. Email help@itemeyez.com with “Privacy request” and describe what you need. Use the email connected with the information; do not send a password or identity document unless a secure verification method has been arranged.

Privacy rights depend on where you live and which laws apply. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension, verification need or legal reason we cannot complete a request. We do not penalize you for exercising protected privacy rights.

If we decline a request, reply with “Privacy appeal” to ask for a review. We explain the outcome and any further complaint options available under applicable law. You can also contact your state consumer-protection office or the authority responsible for your privacy rights.

We do not sell information or use cross-site targeted advertising. You can still contact us about an opt-out request. Unsubscribe from optional promotional email using its unsubscribe link or by emailing us; essential account or billing notices are separate.

Children and policy changes

Itemeyez is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact help@itemeyez.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps.

The date above identifies this policy version. When our practices change, we update this notice and provide any notice or consent required by law. A new notice does not remove rights that already apply to your information.

Your choices last 180 days on this browser and site. Essential hosting and security still run. Analytics IDs last up to 30 days; event records are kept for up to 90 days.
